COVID-19: Our Commitment

  • print
  • Two 12 OZ Packages of Perfect Pasta Four Cheese Ravioli or Classic Cheese Ravioli
  • 1/2 Cup Basil Pesto
  • 4 Each Flat Iron Steak, Portioned Individually
  • 4 Each Roma Tomatoes, Sliced Thick
  • 4 OZ Fresh Mozzarella, Sliced Thick
  • Fresh Basil Leaves
  • Fresh Black Pepper to Garnish

  • Bring 6 quarts of water to a gentle boil in a large pot. While water is heating, warm a medium sized non-stick skillet over high heat.
  • Brush flat iron steak portions with basil pesto and add to skillet. At the same time, add the ravioli to the pot of boiling water. After 3 minutes, turn the steaks, brush the second side with basil pesto, and sear for another 3 minutes. Around the 5-6 minute mark, check ravioli for doneness, and if done, remove from water and drain. Remove steaks from skillet and set aside.
  • Arrange pieces of ravioli, slices of tomato, slices of mozzarella, and fresh basil leaves in order on each plate. Warm remaining basil pesto in the microwave for 20 seconds on high, or until warm. Cut steaks across the grain into thin strips, and immediately top plated ravioli, tomato, mozzarella, and basil with steak. Drizzle warm basil pesto over the top, and then garnish with fresh ground black pepper and serve. Buon Appetito!
